David Seaman FCA
David qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the City of London in 1990 and as planned, moved into industry to gain practical hands-on experience, holding a variety of positions including general manager and group financial controller, working across the UK and aboard for a variety of shareholder managed businesses and plcs.
David founded Three Lines Financial Management in 2002 as he sought to specialise in the area he enjoyed most, providing the services of a part-time Financial Director to the creative sector. Well known for providing no-nonsense business advice, it is rumoured that he is actually not as miserable as he looks.
In addition to being a Fellow of the Institute of England & Wales, David is also a member of the ICAEW Corporate Governance Group and the ICAEW Business & Management Faculty. David has also contributed articles to the ICAEW’s Business Advisory Service website
Outside of work, David is into keeping fit running, is a school governor and is scout leader. His ambition is to play in a band at Glastonbury, an ambition as yet unfulfilled.
